Volunteers Needed

Once again DIVA will be participating in the 2019 Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade. This year DIVA needs your help and would appreciate you giving back to the league you love so much. Help show Dallas and the World why we are the Largest Adult Volleyball League in Texas and the 2nd Largest LGBT Volleyball League in North Texas.

SHIFT DETAILS (Select Preferred Shifts Below):

• Saturday, May 25, 2019 – 1:00 pm (Float Build)
  Location: Donny Perry’s House (1667 Sylvan Ave, Dallas, Texas 75208)
  Parking: Street Parking
  Supplies: For those SAVVY CONSTRUCTION INDIVIDUALS – Please bring Hammers, Saws, Safety Goggles, etc.
• Saturday, June 1, 2019 – 2:30 pm to 6:30 (Float Completion) – Must be out of Park by 8:00 pm
  Location: Donny Perry’s House (1667 Sylvan Ave, Dallas, Texas 75208) – Then head to Fair Park
  Cost: Free with wristband from Brett Benton-Werner ([email protected])
  Parking:
• Sunday, June 2, 2019 – 10:30 am (Float Final Touches)
  Location: Fair Park (Gate 12 / Lot 12A / Pole #21)
  Cost: The parade is always FREE to attend and watch.
  Parking: Parking rates on the Fair Park grounds will be $10/car. Pre-Pay for Parking here.
• Sunday, June 2, 2019 – 1:00 pm (Walkers – Parade)
  Location: Fair Park (Gate 12 / Lot 12A / Pole #21)
  Attire: Toga, Gladiator Outfit or DIVA T-Shirt
  Cost: The parade is always FREE to attend and watch. The parade kicks off at 2 pm and will be broadcast live on CW33.
  Parking: Parking rates on the Fair Park grounds will be $10/car. Pre-Pay for Parking here.
  Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART): Transportation via DART is an option as well.
