AUSTIN TOURNAMENT – CANCELLED – JULY 3, 2020 UPDATE
The Austin Tournament has been CANCELLED!
We had hoped to create a safe space for our adult players to return to the sport they love. At one time, many “experts” were predicting a decline in COVID-19 transmissions as we entered the month of July; this has not been the case. Also, the Texas Governor’s recent order requiring the wearing of masks during play has increased the risk of injury while playing since one’s field of vision will be diminished.
Fortunately, we will be able to provide a FULL REFUND of tournament team ($475/$525) and extra player ($60) fees. These refunds will be processed today and should be in the payer’s account within a few days.
Several captains/players have inquired about receiving a refund for their NAGVA individual ($35) and team registration ($40) season fees. Questions of this nature should be directed to Richard Sucre, NAGVA’s Treasurer ([email protected]) – please send NAGVA number and team name with any requests.
We are thankful to be part of a very thoughtful, respectful and supporting community. We pray for everyone to stay safe and healthy. We will see you on the court again, soon!
